The Latest OFCCP Audit List is Out

This morning, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) published the latest Corporate Scheduling Announcement List for supply and service contractors. The list, better known as the CSAL, is an ‘early warning’ for federal contractors and subcontractors that they will receive notice of an audit (called a ‘review’ by the agency) directly from the OFCCP in the upcoming weeks or months. The individual notice that goes to the employer lists what documents must be provided and what questions must be answered by the employer within a deadline of thirty days. For the 500 employers on the list, publication of the CSAL is a welcome opportunity to get a head start on gathering data and preparing for the audit.

The new CSAL spreadsheet is linked at https://www.dol.gov/agencies/ofccp/scheduling-list.

The CSAL is a courtesy notification to contractors of which establishments have been selected for a Compliance Review (Establishment Review), Corporate Management Compliance Evaluation, Functional Affirmative Action Program Review, or University Review. Employers on the list will want to go to the OFCCP website to review the agency’s compliance assistance materials. The FAQs, sample notices, and other materials answer many questions and clarify employer obligations. Additionally, the OFCCP offers virtual compliance assistance events to support employers in their compliance. https://www.dol.gov/agencies/ofccp/events.
