In the past couple of years, employers have experienced changes in when, how, and in what detail they are called upon to demonstrate their compliance with the employment-related obligations that come with contracting with federal agencies. Annual certifications, new inquiry response times, and new questions to answer are among the changes. Understanding the changes can be challenging. Fortunately the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has taken steps to make free training for federal contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders more accessible. The agency offers regular webinars, in-person training and hybrid training (in-person and virtual) every month. This year the agency is providing a calendar of available webinars, public meetings, and training programs to make it easier for stakeholder to plan and use these resources.
For example, on February 15, 2024, the OFCCP Dallas District office is offering a hybrid assistance event on “What to Expect During A Compliance Review” from 10 a.m. to Noon (CST). The calendar, including links to registering for the February 15th assistance event, can be found at https://ofccp-apps.dol.gov/stakeholder-events-calendar.
